Jennifer! I consider myself a pretty competent card maker. I've created and donated literally thousands of cards to charities the last couple of years. I'm always trying to find ways to batch make cards but still enjoy an artistic time creating. This new to me way to speed up the coloring will open up a whole new world for me!.

Making cards for charities such as Cards for Kindness, has become my reason for living!. I had become quite depressed and isolated when illness forced me to need extra oxygen full time. Having a nose hose that gets tangled 100s of times a day is painful and limiting even while being a life saver. I needed to find a way to make a difference in the world despite being so tied down. I'd Been making cards for friends and family for decades and often spent hours per card. Usually each card was different . I still try to make special, thoughtfully designed cards but once I've come up with a design I make 5-10 of that design since often it is the design that takes the most time. Making these small batches allows me to make 3 -5 designs per work day. I still feel creative but I am able to reach more people with happy mail!

Thank you for sharing your ideas and inspiration. You may rest comfortably knowing you are a very important cog in the happy mail works!. God bless, Betsy Lute
